This is a lovely & hard to find WWII officers garrison cap for an officer in the Parachute Infantry of the Airborne. There is an early war Paratrooper infantry patch on the left side, with officer black silver piping on the cap. Normally officers would wear black and gold but this was a variant. The piping of this example seems standard without any serious loss. The sweatband shows minor service wear no size tag, but
